Project synopsis

This project was designed to reinvent the home gardening industry. The egregious lack of eco-friendly materials in the gardening industry has needed a renovation for years. Recently, young homeowners have begun investing in plastic-free gardens, and this kit will help beginners get a foot in the door. The “Green Start” starter’s kit features a custom made planting box with a chalkboard finish, three peat pots which can be used in the planter or planted straight into the ground, stylish goatskin gloves, bug resistant indoor potting mix, a durable stainless steel hand trowel for all your planting needs, and three seed starting pods with household favorite herbs of thyme, oregano, and basil. The beginner’s guide included explains the importance of reducing waste in the garden, and has useful tips on how to get everyone to trust in your green thumb. The items in the starter kit and the box itself are all adhesive free and compostable, so this is a no-waste kit that anyone can get behind.
